Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to guide a small team of engineers and develop analytical solutions that support day-to-day decision-making for product lines and new products under development.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing strategy/analysis, 2+ years of leadership, and a strong background in data visualization and analytics. You will work with manufacturing leadership to drive productivity, cost reduction, and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field; MBA/MS preferred.
• Experience using data visualization tools: SQL, Python, TypeScript, Tableau, PowerBI, Palantir Foundry, MS VBA.
• 8+ years in a manufacturing strategy/analysis role with tangible insights and implementations that drove results.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team or cross-functional project management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant information.
• Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers to develop and maintain analytical solutions.
• Engage with manufacturing and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure success.
• Develop and implement analytics-driven manufacturing solutions to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Analyze production data, process flow, and resource utilization to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives.
• Lead kaizen, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma initiatives to optimize processes.
• Contribute to capacity planning and workforce management for scalability.
• Implement and refine manufacturing KPIs to drive accountability.
• Support new product development from a manufacturing perspective.
