Job summary

Bayer in Whippany, NJ seeks an Associate Director, Managed Care Rebate Strategy & Operations to strengthen rebate controls and GTN performance across commercial operations.

You will lead Model N initiatives, prevent revenue leakage, and oversee offshore resources while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver auditable, scalable processes.

This role requires 7–10 years in pharmaceutical rebate operations and a strong GTN mindset; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical Managed Care rebate operations and GTN functions.
• Hands-on Model N expertise and related workflows.
• Ability to identify revenue leakage and process inefficiencies.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Model N SME and enhance payment processing, reporting and validation.
• Translate best practices into scalable Bayer processes and controls.
• Identify GTN improvements to prevent revenue leakage and disputes.
• Modernize dispute management with tracking, escalation and documentation.
• Lead system improvements to reduce manual work and improve timing.
• Design and implement new Managed Care payment models with testing.
• Manage offshore resources and ensure quality review and escalation.
• Engage PBMs, GPOs, specialty pharmacies, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate across Finance, Legal, IT, and other teams to improve GTN execution.
• Develop documentation, training, metrics and dashboards.
