Job summary

Bayer seeks an Associate Director, Managed Care Rebate Strategy & Operations in New Jersey to strengthen rebate operations and GTN performance by advancing Model N capabilities, improving controls, and reducing revenue leakage.

You will lead offshore resources, collaborate with PBMs and partners, and work with Finance, Legal, and IT to deliver auditable rebate operations and scalable processes. This role blends hands-on rebate experience with strategic GTN insight in a global pharma environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical Managed Care rebate operations.
• Hands-on Model N expertise with rebate payment workflows.
• Ability to identify revenue leakage and implement improvement actions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Model N SME, elevating payment processing, validation logic, customer reporting, reconciliation, operational reporting.
• Translate best practices into Bayer processes, system enhancements, and auditable outcomes.
• Identify GTN improvement opportunities and recover overpaid rebates, fees, and discounts.
• Modernize dispute management with better tracking, aging reviews, and escalation routines.
• Lead process and system improvements to reduce manual workarounds and shorten job runs.
• Support design and implementation of new Managed Care payment models with robust testing and documentation.
• Manage offshore resources, including workload allocation and quality review.
• Lead external stakeholder discussions with PBMs, GPOs, Specialty Pharmacies, and wholesalers to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, and vendors to improve end-to-end GTN execution.
• Build documentation, training materials, and dashboards to support scalable operations.
