Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Finance Operations Medical Customer Rebates to lead rebate setup, accruals, payout execution, reporting, and compliance. You will guide onshore teams and coordinate offshore resources to meet monthly targets in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The role requires a strong background in accounting/finance, 8+ years of related experience, and proven ability to drive process improvements while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• 8+ years in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience leading teams and managing operational processes in deadline-driven environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial controls, SOX compliance, and business processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer rebate operations, including rebate setup, accruals, payout execution, reporting, audit support, and issue resolution.
• Ensure customer rebates and GPO administrative fees are calculated, processed, and accounted for in compliance with company policies and financial requirements.
• Review and approve non-standard rebate structures, ensuring appropriate documentation, controls, and approvals are maintained.
• Evaluate financial and operational impacts of rebate processes and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
• Strengthen and maintain a robust SOX control environment through process improvements, standard operating procedures, and governance initiatives.
• Drive system enhancements and continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and support the timely and accurate execution of rebate and GPO administrative fee programs.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and enhance the internal and external customer experience.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members while establishing performance, growth, and development goals.
