Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Lead Radiologic Technologist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients and their families.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Minimum 0.8 FTE Radiologic Technologist III or greater with at least 4 years of relevant experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Licensure/certification in the modality of the section they are assigned to.
• Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
• CRT and Fluoroscopy permit in accordance with California state regulation. ARRT, BLS, and CRT certifications are required.
• Mammography certification for all mammography technologists.
• Additional certifications such as CT ARRT, CT BLS, RG RHF, CT RTT, RG RHM are preferred.
