Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Major Crossings Design-Build Principal to lead pursuit, planning, and execution of large bridge and transportation projects. You will provide strategic leadership across multi-office teams, champion Design-Build delivery, and foster strong client relationships to win and deliver landmark projects.

You will oversee design managers, support qualification and proposal activities, and drive high-performance teams while ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence across complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• 15+ years of experience in managing complex highway/bridge projects.
• Experience as Design Manager/Project Manager on major transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management across large Design-Build and alternate delivery projects.
• Mentor bridge/hwy Design Managers and promote best practices.
• Oversee pursuit activities, proposals, and ATC development.
• Manage client relationships, risk, schedule, and budget across multiple offices.
• Coordinate with engineers, scheduling, controls, and construction teams for delivery.
