Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Major Crossings Design-Build Principal to lead pursuit, planning, and delivery of landmark bridge and transportation projects across the United States. The role requires strategic leadership across large Design-Build and alternative delivery programs, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will drive proposal development, ATC work, and program execution while ensuring cost management, schedule adherence, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• 15+ years of experience managing complex bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Design-Build/alternative delivery experience on large transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Design Manager for coordination and delivery of design services on large Design-Build projects.
• Lead pursuit-phase activities including proposal development and ATC development.
• Mentor and support bridge and highway design managers.
• Build relationships with contractors, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project execution plans, staffing, and resource needs.
• Coordinate cross-office teams and monitor schedules and budgets.
