Job summary

MAGNET HR GROUP LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a maintenance team, perform repairs, and ensure properties are maintained to high standards. You will supervise technicians, manage work orders, coordinate vendors, and ensure safety and compliance while maintaining detailed records.

Ideal candidates have experience in maintenance or property management, basic plumbing/electrical knowledge, and HVAC/EPO familiarity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
• HVAC and EPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general tasks.
• Inventory and Supplies: Maintain organized inventory; monitor and order supplies as needed.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate and supervise work by third-party vendors and contractors; manage relationships and procurement.
• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regs, local codes, and company policies; conduct safety inspections.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of activities, work orders, inventory, and inspections; submit regular reports.

MAINT. SUPERVISOR POSITION OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of our maintenance team and plays a crucial role in overseeing maintenance operations, conducting repairs, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining properties to the highest standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Delegate maintenance tasks, prioritize work orders, and ensure the efficient use of resources.

Maintenance and Repairs

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Inventory and Supplies

• Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor and order supplies as needed to support maintenance operations.

Vendor and Contractor Management

• Coordinate and supervise work performed by third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with agreements.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement of services and supplies.

Emergency Response

• Be available to respond to maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance and repairs as needed.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and safety inspections.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance operations as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
