Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Maintenance Working Leader for our Columbus Forge facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing complex machinery with electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, on a weekend day shift (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 am–7:00 pm).

You’ll ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of production processes on site. Responsibilities include coordinating contractors, performing planned maintenance, troubleshooting systems, and documenting

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
6+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or technical environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and provide oversight to onsite contractors.
Perform daily and monthly planned maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using service manuals and drawings.
Conduct tests using instruments to identify faulty circuits and resolve issues.
Replace or adjust components such as amplifiers, logic cards, memory units, and printed circuit boards as needed.
Calibrate and service electronic and electrical systems and power distribution.
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement and EH&S policies.
