Job summary

Pratt & Whitney at our Columbus Forge facility seeks an on-site maintenance technician to keep complex machinery reliable. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment with electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components to support safe, efficient production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in industrial maintenance. You will work Sunday–Thursday on the 3rd shift, collaborating with a team to uphold EH&S standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, electronic and mechanical systems preferred.
• Familiarity with test instruments and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly planned maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct tests using oscilloscopes, recorders, and digital meters to identify issues.
• Replace or adjust components such as amplifiers and printed circuit boards as needed.
• Calibrate and service electronic and electrical systems and power distribution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.
