Job summary

Richmark Properties is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations at our apartment community. You will manage work orders, supervise staff, and ensure property standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications include EPA Universal or Type II HVAC certification, strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and at least 2 years in a lead maintenance role. This full-time position requires on-call rotations and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and general property maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician or Assistant Lead.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Must pass background screening and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including work orders, repairs, and unit make-readies.
• Order and track maintenance parts and supplies, ensuring expenses stay within budget.
• Maintain and service pool equipment (pool certification required).
• Schedule and manage vendor services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal Fair Housing laws and all applicable local regulations.
• Provide leadership and training for maintenance staff.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as part of on-call rotation.
