Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to serve as the technical SME for a distribution center. You will maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical MHE, including conveyors, robotics, and AS/RS systems, while guiding junior technicians and coordinating with outside contractors.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/mechanical maintenance, PLCs, and robotics, with emphasis on safety and process efficiency at a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years’ experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance in a distribution center environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical aspects of MHE (conveyors, sortation, robotics, ASRS).
• Troubleshoot PLCs, field buses, and control components.
• Develop work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets.
• Use asset management app to create/close Work Orders with data (labor hours, downtime, problem/cause/remedy, parts used).
• Lead as technical trainer for maintenance technicians and trainees.
