Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to keep material handling equipment (conveyors, sortation, robotics, AS/RS) running and safe. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, interpret PLCs, and guide junior technicians on repairs and safety practices.

The role requires 4+ years in mechanical/electrical maintenance, a valid license, and comfort with mobile apps for work orders. Expect a Tuesday–Friday 4:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. schedule and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. 4+ years’ mechanical or electrical maintenance exp. in DC environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols, electrical measurement.
• Experience with PLC programs and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical aspects of MHE (conveyors, sortation, robotics, AS/RS).
• Develop work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets.
• Use asset management system to create/close Work Orders with labor hours, downtime, cause/remedy, and parts.
• Follow safety procedures (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash) and work with PPE.
