Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a lead maintenance tech in Temecula. The role focuses on mechanical/electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and ongoing improvement. Strong blueprints knowledge and PLC/CNC familiarity are valued.

You will support technicians, handle routine preventive tasks, and contribute to uptime while working a standard Monday–Friday shift. Competitive hourly rate with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• One to two years of related work experience required.
• Certification from college or technical school preferred.
• Demonstrable experience may be accepted in place of credentials.
• Must read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Carry out simple preventive maintenance tasks (lubrication, cleaning, routine part replacements).
• Fabricate/repair simple metal projects.
• Assist technicians to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems (PLC controlled CNCs, welders, saws).
• Maintain data entry for equipment logs and safety records.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Promote a collaborative team environment.
