Job summary

Milgard Manufacturing LLC in Temecula, CA is seeking a Maintenance Tech III to join our manufacturing plant team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment with a strong mechanical and electrical background, supporting safe, efficient production and site reliability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, PLC familiarity, and the ability to train junior technicians. The position offers competitive hourly pay, shift differential for SD shift, and opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing plant with maintenance experience.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.
• Basic understanding of industrial electricity.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to train lower-skilled technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform work safely following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair equipment in assigned area under guidance of higher-level utility mechanics.
• Maintain open and accurate communication with other maintenance employees as well as supervisor.
• Complete all assigned work orders completely and accurately, documenting all prudent information describing the completion of the work order.
• Complete Maintenance, Repair, and Operations documentation and Proteus entry as dictated by maintenance tasks, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform technical maintenance tasks under close supervision.
• Provide all information necessary to maintain proper parts inventories.
• Work with outside contractors to complete projects and improvements.

Education
