Job summary

MITER Brands in Clovis, CA, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing plant. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and assisting with fabrication and repairs. A strong mechanical/electrical background and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of related work experience required.
• Certification from college or technical school preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling.
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Lubricate, clean, and perform routine part replacements as preventive maintenance.
• Fabricate or repair simple metal projects.
• Assist technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC-controlled CNCs, welders, and saws.
• Maintain data entry for required written and electronic equipment logs.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear required PPE.
