Job summary

MITER Brands in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a lead maintenance technician with strong mechanical and electrical background for a manufacturing plant role. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, and perform preventive maintenance while supporting a safe, efficient operation.

The position offers hourly pay with overtime eligibility and a robust benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement options, plus a 3pm–11:30pm shift and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing plant.
• Certification from college or technical school preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per SOPs.
• Carry out simple preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, routine part replacements).
• Fabricate/repair simple metal projects.
• Assist technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems (PLC-controlled CNCs, welders, saws).
• Maintain data entry for equipment logs; follow safety policies and PPE usage.
