Job summary

MITER Brands in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a lead maintenance tech with a strong mechanical and electrical background to join our manufacturing plant team. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fabrication work, with a Monday–Friday 3pm–11:30pm shift and a competitive hourly rate with overtime.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing, a technical certification preferred, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing plant.
• Certification from college or technical school preferred.
• Demonstrable experience may be accepted in place of credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and routine part replacements
• Fabricate / repair simple metal projects
• Assist Technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC controlled CNC’s, welders, and saws.
• Maintain data entry for required written and electronic equipment logs.
• Proper usage of personal protective equipment.
• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
