Job summary

MITER Brands in Temecula, CA is seeking a Maintenance Tech III with a strong mechanical and electrical background for our manufacturing plant. The role requires 5+ years of plant maintenance experience, the ability to train others, and proficiency with schematics, blueprints, and automation concepts.

Shift is 2:00 PM–10:45 PM, Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of $35.00–$38.00 plus $3.00 per hour for SDS. We offer strong benefits, opportunities for advancement, and a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Technical or Trade school degree preferred, or HS diploma/GED plus 3 years in a maintenance occupation in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of industrial electricity.
• Knowledge of energy sources for utility equipment (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• PLC experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently when directed.
• Basic understanding of schematics and blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Comply with OSHA and company regulations (Lock Out Tag Out, PPE).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and repair equipment in assigned area under supervision.
• Complete maintenance work orders accurately and document completion details.
• Complete Maintenance, Repair, and Operations documentation in Proteus.
• Provide information to maintain proper parts inventories.
• Work with outside contractors on projects and improvements.
• Train lower-skill technicians as needed.
