Job summary

Otsuka ICU Medical LLC in Austin, TX seeks an experienced maintenance professional to support complex production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and document modifications and procedures while mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, validating improvements, and ensuring adherence to cGMP and SOPs. Travel is possible for equipment reviews and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.
• 6–10 years' experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex production equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, PLC).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; perform root cause analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and document modifications and maintenance procedures.
• Oversee and review work of lower-level technicians; act as technical lead when needed.
• Assist in evaluating processes and equipment; suggest improvements and validate changes.
• Coordinate line coverage during absences and work with outside contractors as needed.
• Train plant personnel on procedures, methods, and equipment operations.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and plant policies; report test data and results to supervisors.
