Job summary

HireLifeScience is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will support start-up of equipment, preventive maintenance, and facility repairs while upholding safety standards.

The role involves leading projects, scheduling time and labor, and coordinating with Engineering, IT, and OT teams to drive continuous improvement. A strong background in mechanical and electrical systems and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of advanced mechanical, electrical, and systems repair experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing with PLC, CAD, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronically controlled equipment preferred.
• Management and leadership skills required.
• Knowledge of 5S/6S techniques and Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Hazwoper or safety training knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the maintenance team during projects, equipment rollouts, and facility initiatives.
• Perform emergency repairs and troubleshooting on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and control systems.
• Conduct equipment calibrations and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and work orders while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
