Job summary
Austin Industrial, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Phoenix, AZ area on the PM shift.
The role provides mechanical services to support production and to ensure safe plant operation, with exposure to reactors, dryers, heat exchangers, pumps and packaging equipment. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, evaluating cost-effectiveness, and collaborating with Engineering on continuous improvement and new equipment installations.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience.
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
- NCCER Boilermaker certification, a Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on production equipment including reactors, blending vessels, dryers, heat exchangers, and pumps.
- Execute preventative maintenance and routine inspections of plant systems.
- Plan and install machinery and parts in line with design plans and timescales.
- Collaborate with Engineering to implement continuous improvement initiatives and install new equipment.
- Adhere to safety procedures and support the overall reliability of the facility.
