Job summary

CAF Management AZ LLC - Artisan Park in Glendale, AZ seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to lead daily maintenance, perform repairs, and manage service requests across our apartment communities.

You’ll mentor the maintenance team, coordinate vendor work, participate in on-call rotations, and grow into leadership roles. We offer competitive pay, commissions, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays) and participate in on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform daily maintenance operations including service requests, unit turns, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Ensure the property meets safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal standards.
• Order and manage parts and supply inventory within budget.
• Train and support Assistant Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinate vendor work and supervise contracted repairs.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and handle emergency maintenance situations.
• Communicate with the Property Manager to align maintenance efforts with community goals.
