Job summary

CAF Management - Prescott Park is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You’ll handle daily service requests, assist with turns, and help keep the community safe and well-maintained for residents.

Ideal candidates have basic apartment maintenance knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or with others. On Saturdays availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of apartment maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Availability to work Saturdays and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with apartment turns, repairs, and unit inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues
• Help maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas
• Work with vendors and maintenance team to complete larger projects
• Ensure all work complies with safety guidelines and company standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory
• Communicate clearly with residents and team members to ensure satisfaction
