CAF Management seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance across apartment communities, leading repairs, preventive maintenance, and service requests while guiding and mentoring the maintenance team to ensure safety and top condition.

You will manage scheduling, coordinate vendor work, and participate in on-call rotations, with opportunities for career growth within the company. Strong hands-on skills and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays) and participate in on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform daily maintenance operations including service requests, unit turns, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Ensure the property meets safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal standards.
• Order and manage parts and supply inventory within budget.
• Train and support Assistant Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinate vendor work and supervise contracted repairs.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and handle emergency maintenance situations.
• Communicate with the Property Manager to align maintenance efforts with community goals.
