Job summary

West Shore is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for one of our apartment communities in Ocala, FL. Under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will handle all aspects of maintenance and repairs to keep the property in top condition.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required or minimum documented proficiency.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing and minor carpentry tasks.
• Ability to read manuals and diagnose repairs quickly.
• Commitment to safety regulations and clean work areas.

Responsibilities

• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Perform grounds work and light landscaping.
• Coordinate with supervisor to complete projects and work orders.
• Repair or replace fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs, pipes and fixtures.
• Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program.
• Respond to emergencies after hours as needed.
