Job summary

Biogen in North Carolina seeks a Senior Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing and laboratory operations. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with engineering and validation teams to maintain a GMP-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• GMP-regulated manufacturing environment experience.
• Hands-on experience with centrifuges, bioreactors, CIP skids.
• Experience in cleanroom environments and required gowning.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders and documentation.
• Willingness to support rotating shifts and extended hours.
• Strong adherence to safety and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and lab equipment per site procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Create and execute work orders while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Support validation and engineering activities as needed.
• Author and update SOPs, job plans, and LO/TO documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Quality, and Manufacturing to improve workflows.
