Job summary

Westrock Coffee in Conway, AR is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to set up, adjust, operate and maintain automated production equipment in a modern food facility. You will coordinate and execute the maintenance plan, supervise technicians, and ensure safety, quality and productivity across shifts.

The role requires 5+ years in a consumer-packaged goods environment with high-speed liquid filling experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowcharts, timing diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong communication skills to relay instructions to a variety of personnel.
• Continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

• Ability to train and supervise maintenance technicians across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize planned work orders with day-to-day maintenance issues.
• Record and report daily activities to maintenance supervisor and during shift handoff.
• Provide direction and training to maintenance technicians when needed.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment.
• Set up and operate metalworking equipment (hand tools, welders, drill press, grinders).
• Work with production to cross-train on system maintenance for coverage across shifts.
• Develop SOPs and duty cycles for repairs and maintenance of process/packaging equipment.
• Interpret plans, schematics and manuals for systems under supervision.
