Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform advanced troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on automated conveyor and sortation systems in a high-volume grocery fulfillment/distribution center.

You will drive equipment reliability, respond to failures, support continuous improvement, and mentor junior technicians while maintaining base building systems and coordinating with operations teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Vendor management experience and ability to train/mentor others.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Safety: promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintenance: troubleshoot and repair all conveyor systems; install/maintain relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, and controls.
• Monitoring: create and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Support: lead and audit preventative maintenance; mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.
