Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and deliver certification training for the team at our Secaucus, NJ site. You will ensure safety compliance, document activities, and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent with preferred technical certifications (CMRT, Electrical Maintenance).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• CMRT and Electrical Maintenance Certification required.
• PLCs, motors, control systems, and schematics understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery and systems.
• Configure and repair web-based electronic components as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Lead team development through task delegation and skill-building initiatives.
• Deliver certification and training programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot (L2).
• Provide key technical support.
• Deliver Certification Training.
