Job summary
Unilever in Chicago, IL seeks a Maintenance Mechanic / Team Lead Line Technician for 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am, Mon–Fri). Base pay is $41.13/hour with a $0.45 shift differential and a $2.00 shift premium, weekly pay period. This full-time role includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, tuition/fitness reimbursement, paid leaves, and more.
Onsite store and recognition programs offered. Role responsibilities include repairing packaging, conveyors, and processing equipment,
Qualifications
- High school education or GED equivalent and prior experience in related area.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery such as packaging equipment, conveyor systems, and processing equipment.
- Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Work Orders to reduce downtime.
- Provide a high level of troubleshooting ability to repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyance systems.
- Operate equipment and perform routine tasks to identify issues before they affect production.
- Guide and lead a team of technical operators
