Job summary

Performance Fluid Experts Group in Alsip, IL is seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic (2:00pm–10:30pm) to lead maintenance at a blending and filling facility and guide the on‑shift crew within the Auto/Car Care/Prestone division.

This role offers up to $45 per hour, bonus eligibility, and a strong benefits package. A high school diploma or GED plus 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, plus PLC/electrical skills, are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing facility is required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment such as conveyors, presses, pumps, and motors.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and related equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals to guide repairs.
Install and setup of new machinery and production lines.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize disruptions.
