Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting for a Maintenance Lead in Melrose Park, IL on a direct-hire basis. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor, leads the maintenance team, and focuses on safe, efficient facility operations on the 3rd shift (10pm-6am).

The successful candidate will repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment, with proficiency in electrical controls and welding. A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment.
• Proficiency with DC/AC electrical controls and sensors/switches.
• Ability to operate welding and metalworking equipment for fabrication and repairs.
• Strong communication skills to elevate and report maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating and executing maintenance activities across the facility.
• Lead, train, and support maintenance team members to ensure efficient operations and safety compliance.
• Support preventative maintenance planning and recommend permanent solutions to recurring equipment issues.
• Communicate critical maintenance situations and elevate concerns when guidance or support is needed.
• Utilize tools and equipment to maintain, inspect, adjust, repair, and replace machinery and facility equipment.
