Job summary
Liberty Diversified International in Phoenix, AZ seeks a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician III to lead maintenance, perform advanced troubleshooting, and drive reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. Must have strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and proven leadership.
The role reports to the Sr. Production Supervisor at our Phoenix facility and requires ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Comprehensive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- 5+ years of maintenance tech experience in manufacturing OR completion of LDI Level III.
- Expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding of basic HVAC and plumbing.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Implement solutions and perform repairs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop prevention strategies for recurring failures.
- Oversee installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
- Mentor and train junior technicians; maintain maintenance records and history.
- Ensure safety regulations compliance and maintain clean work areas.
