Job summary

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician I II who will lead maintenance activities and perform complex troubleshooting to keep our manufacturing equipment running reliably.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, leadership experience, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position reports to the Sr. Production Supervisor and is based at our Phoenix facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance tech/mechanic in manufacturing environment OR completion of Level III from the LDI Maintenance Training Program.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of basic HVAC and plumbing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Implement solutions and repair to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop preventive strategies.
• Oversee installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
• Perform repairs on facilities and equipment including HVAC, plumbing, and boiler maintenance.
• Mentor and train junior technicians, providing technical guidance.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Communicate issues and repair status clearly to stakeholders.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
