Job summary

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) is seeking a Maintenance Technician III at our Fort Worth, TX facility to lead maintenance activities and perform complex troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment. You will mentor junior technicians and drive preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, leadership, and the ability to handle multiple priorities, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of maintenance tech/mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment OR completion of LDI Level III.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of basic HVAC and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Implement solutions and perform repairs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategies to prevent recurring failures.
• Oversee installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on facilities and equipment including minor HVAC, plumbing, wastewater management, and boiler maintenance.
• Mentor and train junior technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Ensure appropriate level of communication regarding issues and repair status.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
