Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of facility systems and equipment. The role emphasizes electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and leadership of maintenance activities, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday rotation.

The ideal candidate will have proven facilities maintenance experience, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
Leadership experience supervising teams or projects is highly desirable.
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs as needed, utilizing tools such as an Ohmmeter.
Fabricate parts and components as required to maintain equipment functionality.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Supervise maintenance staff during projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
