Job summary

Chestnut Hill Realty is seeking a Working Maintenance Supervisor for the Norwood Gardens community. The role involves supervising maintenance technicians, scheduling, and coordinating with outside vendors to keep systems running and respond to resident requests.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of maintenance experience, strong customer service, and proficiency with MS Office plus company software. On-call weekends/nights and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years maintenance technician experience required.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing etc.
• Outstanding customer service orientation and superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn and operate company software programs.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to lead and motivate others.
• Must possess professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand emergencies arise, and are comfortable being on call (weekends and nights required).
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of property maintenance technicians on a day-to-day basis.
• Assist in preparing work schedules.
• Schedule outside vendors by obtaining competitive quotes and monitoring completion of work performed.
• Maintain knowledge of maintenance programs and capital improvement projects for proper operation and responsive to resident service requests.
• Perform maintenance in units and participate in on-call schedule.
• Replace and maintain inventory of supplies and parts.
