Job summary

Conifer Realty is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a residential maintenance team at our Egg Harbor City communities. You will oversee repairs, ensure safety compliance, manage work orders, and drive resident satisfaction through proactive upkeep.

The ideal candidate has HVAC certification, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and proven abilities in budgeting, vendor management, and scheduling. Strong leadership and reliability are essential for on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to respond within 30 minutes for on‑call emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.
