Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience managing maintenance for a community.
• Led a team for at least 1 year.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Proficient writing, speaking and understanding of English.
• Able to use computers and related applications.
• Sense of humor and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for performance of the maintenance service team and be a positive role model.
• Provide complete support to the Property Manager in upholding standards and procedures.
• Ensure that safety measures are enforced.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and personal goals to staff.
• Schedule daily activities efficiently, monitoring quality and quantity.
• Be familiar with property budgets and long-range planning recommendations.
• Maintain shop, equipment, supplies, inventory control and security.
• Tour routes and models to ensure they look their best.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and teammates.
