Job summary

Chestnut Hill Realty in Norwood Gardens is seeking a Working Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations and deliver first-class resident experiences through hands-on repairs and strong customer service.

The role involves managing a team, scheduling work, coordinating with outside vendors, maintaining preventive maintenance programs, responding to service requests, and being on-call on weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years maintenance technician experience required.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing.
• Outstanding customer service orientation and superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills required.
• Understand emergencies arise, and be on-call (weekends and nights).
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians on a day-to-day basis.
• Assist in preparing the work schedules.
• Coordinate with outside vendors by obtaining competitive quotes and monitoring completion of work.
• Maintain knowledge of maintenance programs and capital projects to ensure proper operation and preventive maintenance.
• Perform maintenance in units and participate in on-call schedule.
• Replace and maintain inventory of supplies and parts.
