Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Temple, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician who handles technical and mechanical work to keep community buildings, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and functional.

You will diagnose resident requests, complete make-ready tasks, inspect work, manage inventory, and support budget and safety requirements. Strong customer service, tools proficiency, EPA HVAC certs, and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and related training.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law and be skilled with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively for internal and resident contacts.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose defects to repair.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant homes, schedule vendors, and ensure timely turnover.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and interiors to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work for quality, coordinate with contractors, and stay within budget.
• Assist in budget development for maintenance and capital projects.
