Job summary

Huhtamaki in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Maintenance Department leader for our plant. You will oversee daily maintenance, lead 20+ technicians, and ensure safety, equipment reliability, and production targets are met.

You will maintain CMMS (Mainsaver), interpret blueprints, manage scheduling and reports, and provide input on hiring and performance reviews. The role requires welding, PLC/electrical, and strong problem-solving; overtime and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical experience including PLCs and PC-based controls.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Observe, promote, and administer Safety, Food Safety, and company policies.
• Provide input regarding hiring, firing, and performance reviews.
• Schedule daily employee job assignments and complete department reports.
• Lead maintenance staff in manufacturing facility, supervising 20+ personnel.
• Maintain CMMS system (Mainsaver) and develop work instructions for the Maintenance Department.
• On-call to troubleshoot non-routine problems outside of normal hours.
