Job summary

Qualifications

• Welding experience required.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical experience including familiarity with PLCs and PC-based controls.
• Ability to work with machine PC programs and modify if needed.
• Ability to read and understand technical data, blueprints, etc., and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lead maintenance across all departments.
• Overtime required.
• Ability to operate forklifts and obtain annual certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote and administer Safety and Food Safety policies.
• Assist in employee development, training, and discipline.
• Provide input on hiring, firing, and performance reviews.
• Schedule daily maintenance work and prepare department reports.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and manufacturing personnel.
• Read manuals, blueprints, schematics for equipment.
• Plan work around machine breakdowns and plant scheduling.
• Lead 20+ personnel in daily maintenance tasks and reports.
• Maintain and train others on the CMMS system (Mainsaver).
• On-call to troubleshoot after-hours downtime.
