Job summary

Guardian is seeking a full-time Maintenance Lead/Supervisor for Gray's Landing, a 210-unit community in SW Portland. The role supervises maintenance staff, prioritizes work orders, and ensures property upkeep with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in multifamily property maintenance, building trades knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of working experience in multifamily property maintenance or similar field.
• Basic knowledge of building trades such as plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights on ladders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, and English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance staff schedules and workloads to coordinate repairs.
• Ensure property maintenance complies with OSHA regulations and Guardian policies.
• Coordinate with vendors and other staff to provide timely service to residents.
• Maintain property conditions and document tasks, space conditions, and budgets.
• Respond to service requests, complete work orders and apartment turnovers promptly.
