Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services LLC is recruiting a Maintenance Lead for Strong Family Apartments in Portland, OR. This full-time role oversees maintenance staff, ensures safety and quality, and prioritizes work orders while coordinating with the Community Manager to uphold property standards.

The candidate should have at least two years in multifamily maintenance, basic trades knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance or similar.
• Basic knowledge of building trades: plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work on ladders up to 15 feet.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian professionally at all times.
• Support Community Manager to meet property management obligations.
• Manage schedules and workload of maintenance staff.
• Maintain property in compliance with laws and policies.
• Coordinate with vendors to provide timely maintenance and service orders.
• Respond to service requests and complete work orders promptly.
