Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance supervisor in Portland, OR to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring our community buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar's standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality of service.

You will lead maintenance tasks, manage vendors, supervise up to five staff members, and support budget planning for repairs and capital projects, while delivering outstanding resident service.

Qualifications

• Vast maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Knowledge of Hot Water Heater repair and maintenance; carpentry skills are required.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and property management software (Yardi/One Site).
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress.

Responsibilities

• Being part of a team and delivering friendly, excellent customer service.
• Manage outside vendors and follow up on warranties by email and phone.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for the property.
• Assist with hot water repair and general maintenance tasks.
• Apply basic carpentry skills to maintenance projects.
• Supervise up to 5 employees.
• Assist with developing the budget for regular repair, maintenance, and capital expenses.
• Delegate and complete resident work orders in a timely manner.
