Job summary

Camden Property Trust in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and oversee the community's repairs, make-readies, and preventive maintenance.

This role requires physical stamina and flexibility, including weekends and holidays, with pay range $36–$38 hourly and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years general maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in apartment maintenance.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal and CPO certification required.
• Tile work, carpentry, and all facets of the apartment make-ready process.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, pool/spa equipment, and more.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for communities using Low Speed Vehicles.
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team and schedule activities such as make readies and service requests.
• Monitor and prioritize service requests and emergencies, ensuring top priority handling.
• Communicate assignments and monitor daily workload for timely completion.
• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on appliances and equipment.
• Manage make-ready process, inspect vacants, coordinate with vendors, and complete make-ready.
• Record service, preventive maintenance, and make-ready data in OneSite.
• Identify safety issues and report to Community Manager.
• Assist Community Manager in recruiting and interviewing maintenance staff.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff.
• Periodically complete written property safety audits.
• Maintain inventory of repair supplies and assist with budget input.
• Assist with grounds, pool maintenance, inspections, notices, and other tasks.
