Job summary

MEB Affordable Management Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across properties. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pools, and roofing, ensuring timely responses to maintenance requests and keeping the community safe and well-maintained.

The role requires 2+ years in a maintenance supervisory position, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication. On-call, overtime, and some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years as a maintenance supervisor in multi-family housing.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) to communicate with residents, clients, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Availability for overtime, on-call duties, and weekend work as needed.
• Experience with property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Assign daily work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, and special projects.
• Ensure team adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and performance standards.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee inspection, repair, and maintenance of all property systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pools, roofing).
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and within timeframes.
• Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and determine solutions.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• May travel to assist other properties.
