You will supervise staff, coordinate preventative maintenance, inspect properties, and help manage budgets while delivering courteous service to residents and guests. The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in technical trades and prior supervisory experience. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of direct technical work experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Aufgaben

• Manage a team of maintenance staff and ensure safe work practices.
• Interview job candidates, train new employees, conduct performance reviews and initiate disciplinary actions as needed.
• Review and delegate work orders in a timely manner and maintain a maintenance log.
• Conduct regular property inspections and monitor equipment in common areas.
• Ensure service requests are handled promptly and professionally.
• Assist with annual budget preparation for maintenance projects and capital expenditures.
• Operate within the approved budget and allocate resources within the department.
• Respond to guest concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
• Attend trainings and participate in community activities as requested.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and special maintenance initiatives.
